Today I feel like I was very productive. Seth plowed snow this morning, and I cleaned the house. Then I made a cake and decorated for Valentines Day. Then we went to dinner at Becca and Todd's house to celebrate his safe return from over seas. Hunter got to meet lots of new friends, and see some others who we have not seen in a few weeks. It is so great to gather as a group of friends and enjoy each others stories and company. Helps remind you of the special people in your life, and enjoy the moments you get to spend together! Tomorrow will hopefully be another productive day, with a great big to do list.....

Well today I headed to the county cheerleading competition to see some long lost special cheerleaders! I miss coaching so much but life has brought me other very special things to fill my time, like a husband, a house, and now a wonderful son! Anyway it started snowing and the roads got pretty bad fast so I ventured home. I got stuck and some cute little girls tried to help shovel the way up the street, that failed but it was so sweet of them to try. Then these two guys helped get me unstuck and I drove about 5 miles an hour all the way home! Thank goodness we made it home safely! It will be a long time before I try to drive in the snow again. All to find out that the competition was then canceled and rescheduled for Thursday night. Trying to clean up around the house now, enjoying that my boys are asleep on the sofa (so cute!) Enjoying the snow covered landscape from my window! Exciting day tomorrow we get to have dinner with some close friends, and celebrate that our friend Todd is home from yet another venture over seas to protect our country. So thank full to have people that are over there fighting to keep us safe!

Ok, so today Hunter got to visit with Katie and Megan. Megan and Katie insisted on me starting this blog thing, so here I am! And I have to say it is quite fun and I am very excited to share our families adventures as they occur. Today is Hunter is one month old so we began our day with a visit to the doctors for his one month check up. He is now 7 pounds and 13 ounces, he is 21 and 1/4 inches long. He is definitely growing! The doctor said he looks happy and healthy, which is such a blessing! He also had to get a shot, he screamed and I wanted to cry with him. Then we came home and Megan, Katie, and Lilly came over to visit my big man. This is when they insisted that I start this blog thing. Really glad I did, I think it is going to be fun. Anyways since the day is passing me by I had better try to get some of my motherly and wife type duties done. This house needs cleaned and dinner won't cook itself! Thanks for introducing me to the blog world Megan and Katie!
