Home sweet home! After a long weekend, spending time with my family, I am home sweet home. Nothing like being at home, however it is lonely without Seth. He will be home in the morning! I am so glad we had the day off on Friday it was great to spend a little extra time with Hunter. This is kinda easing my way back to work. Went to visit Seth's grandmother today, and then had dinner with his family. Now I am heading to bed, got to get up early to welcome my hubby home, and get to work. Tomorrow night Hunter has his 2 month doctors appointment, that means lots of shots :( My poor baby, and my poor husband who gets to come home for one night and is going to have a fussy little man. Hoping that my first full week of work goes well!

I feel like it has been forever, but it has been quite a week! Tuesday was my last day of maternity leave! So I spent the day getting ready, running last minute errands, went to dinner with my mom, and then went to Alisha's grandfather veiwing. My heart goes out to her and her family. Wednesday was my dreaded day back to work, however, my amazing long term sub made it so much easier on me. She told me Tuesday that everything was ready, and it was great to walk in and teach. I didn't have to worry about preparing anything. Of course Wednesday morning came and my stomach was in knots because I had to walk away from my sweet little boy. Ready to walk out of the house and the dog ran away. Dropped Hunter off at Joyce's and I did ok, then I got in the car and started crying like a baby. My gas light came on and I had to stop and get gas, and I looked like a bluppering idiot. I was late for my faculty meeting, and walked in with my eyes filled with tears. My students were so cute they came in and started doing thier morning jobs. Then they all asked for hugs and told me how much they missed me, it was cute! Then during free play the all made pictures and cards for Hunter. One of my girls said "wow you got shorter", and Ann's class said "she sure is small". It must be very different to see me not pregnant. They asked all kinds of questions and love looking at the pictures of Hunter. Wednesday night I went up to my parents to stay the rest of the week, because of yet again some snow, and lots of wind. I was very scared of losing power at home, when I am by myself. Thursday morning came and that horrible knot in my stomach came back and I said goodbye to my little man, and headed to work. My class is so good this year, they are such sweet kids, and the day is so busy that it does go by pretty fast. It feels so good to see my sweet baby boy after a long day away from him. Friday morning came and yes we got a tiny bit of snow. And yes my wish came true I get to spend the day with Hunter man! Enjoying every second of my family/ relaxing time this weekend!

Seth and I finally decided on godparents for our Hunter man. Yesterday my family had a remembrance mass at church for my grandfather. It was great to see our family all together. Plus it was Hunter's first time meeting most of my aunts, uncles, and cousins. Then we supported the boy scouts by eating at the pancake breakfast. Seeing the "kids" and family, and remembering my grandfather from so long ago, it makes you realize how fast time flies. Even on what seems like the slowest moving week of my life, I look back and you can even remember specific events from this long drawn out time. People (my self included) need to cherish time because it seems as though you blink and everything is changing. Enjoying this last little bit of time with my man before I have to return to work. We have some errands to run later, and then we are going to Franklin Square to share out birth story. Plus Diane is excited to see little man again!

Well last night Seth and I did get to spend some time together we went out to dinner. His mom watched Hunter.l Then we came home and we were both exhausted. Then today Hunter and I went to Joyce's Surprise 60th birthday party. It was really nice! Afterwards we went out to dinner with the in-laws. Hunter was such a good boy, we had a very busy past few days. Running here there and everywhere, and he is such a great baby! Tonight I am beat. I decided to take a bath with Hunter for the very first time. It was so great and he was being so cute, then bathtime together ended quickly. And lets just say it ended with me getting another shower, and Hunter getting a separate second bath. I am looking forward to tomorrow, we have a service for my grandfather. Tomorrow will be the first time Hunter gets to meet some of my family! He has the cutest church outfit to wear, lets hope we can get out of the house with out spit up all over it. Another exciting day tomorrow!

Wow, busy last few days. Trying to get lots accomplished before next week comes. You know what I mean I can't even bare to say it! Yesterday we went out to lunch with Diane, and she said Hunter is the most beautiful baby she has ever seen. I have to agree! Then we ran a whole bunch of errands. And Hunter was so good, I have the best kid ever! Which makes leaving him even harder. Today we did a trial run at Joyce's for half a day. I actually did pretty good, I came home and cleaned the house. It was nice to get some stuff done without being interrupted with feedings and such. But I was so glad to go pick him up. Seth got bad news today, he has to leave to go down to Calvert Cliffs tomorrow afternoon. I really am going to miss him while he is away! Tonight hopefully we can spend some alone and family time together before he leaves.

Can't believe my little guy is 7 weeks old! Last night Seth surprised me with a princess crown charm for my pandora bracelet. And that's not it he is also going to buy me a new underarmor winter coat, since the only winter coat I have is my maternity coat. I love him so much, so I slipped a little I love you and thank you note in the pocket of his jeans today. Today Hunter and I went to our mommy and me luncheon, it is our last time going since next week I will be going back to work. I am so upset that I have to leave my little guy and my stay at home "mommyness" and go back to work. Although I do miss my girls, and my class, it is going to be so hard being away from Hunter all day! After lunch I went to my OB for my check up and she said everything looks great, she loved seeing Hunter. Then we stopped by the physical therapy place where I was three nights a week for the last three months of my pregnancy. We saw Kate my physical therapist, and she also loved meeting Hunter. And she was glad to hear that I have had no more pain since he was born. Today is ash Wednesday so most likely Hunter and I will be headed to church in a little while. Nana had to go into the hospital today, because she was having difficulty breathing, and her blood pressure was high. Hopefully everything is going to be ok. Tomorrow we are having lunch with Diane my birthing class teacher, I am really excited for her to meet Hunter. Very busy times, trying to fit everything in before heading back to work (tear).

Yesterday we ran lots of errands, I have a lot more to do today because I forgot about presidents day and everything was closed yesterday. Last night Alisha, Paige, and Parker came over for dinner, well breakfast for dinner. Seth made Paige a mickey mouse pancake, it was so cute, she loved it! Today is the second day getting up early, to get ready to go back to work, and I am exhausted. I have lots of running to do today, and I have one fussy little boy, who won't stop eating! Guess that's good, means he is growing! Today he is 7 weeks old, unbelievable he is getting so big :)

Happy Valentines Day! Well our first Valentines Day as a married couple and as a family was relaxing and special! Seth and I decided that presents were not really an option this Valentine's Day, it has been a year full of wonderful gifts, so no need for material things! I made Seth breakfast, and we spent the day with his family! Hunter wore his little heart breaker outfit for Valentines Day, and looked so adorable! (Pictures to come) Joyce came over to meet Hunter, and I am so glad we have her! I know she will take great care of my little man everyday. This week, starting today, we are trying to get into a routine for next week when I go back to work. I enjoy the kids in my class, and love the girls I work with, but it is going to be so hard to go back to work. I wish I could stay home with my little man forever, it breaks my heart to think of all the time, and different milestones that I am going to miss out on :( But for now I need to make the best of our last few days together. Today we have lots of errands to run, and tonight (depending on the weather) we are going to Franklin Square to meet Ms. Daine, she was our birthing class instructor. She is very excited to meet Hunter, and I am exciting to share my birth story with some new expecting mommy's and daddy's. It feels like just yesterday when we were sitting in birthing class listening to other mothers speak about their own birth stories. Time sure does fly! More snow today, are you crazy! I am so ready for spring!

A week away from home! Snow came when expected, we got 19 inches of snow from the first storm. Then on Wednesday we got another 17 inches on top of that! So what I thought would be a two or three day stay at my parents house, soon became a whole week! Hunter was a real fuss bucket while at my parents, I don't think he felt so good. And I am sure he missed being home, and of course he missed his daddy. I know I really did miss him, just a taste of what it is going to be in a couple weeks when he leaves for the cliffs. We will miss him! Wonder if he misses us when we are apart? I truly can't believe how much snow we got this is just beyond anything I have ever seen. And I think it is kinda neat that we can forever remember Hunter's first winter as record breaking! Anyway we are home and tomorrow is Seth and I's first Valentine's Day as a married couple, and of course it is our first Valentines Day as a family. Nothing really excited planned but hopefully we will have a great day together! I really feel bad that I don't have anything special planned or to give Seth for Valentines Day, but I will have to make sure I let him know how much I appreciate and truly love him! Happy Valentines Day!!

Went to the county cheerleading competition last night was great to see all of my long lost cheer friends! Lindsey went with me and it was so cute to see her "show" off her nephew, she is such a proud aunt. Well I am up way to early, and packing up the car, cleaning up the house, and getting ready to head up to my parents house for.... well until I can drive again. Apparently there is a lot of talk about just how much snow we will get, but no matter what it is going to be A LOT! And it is interesting because last night on the news it said a 100% chance of snow, I don't think I have ever seen the weather man say 100%. So Hunter and I are headed up to my parents in just a few hours, to watch the snow fall. Seth will be out plowing, hope he stays safe, he loves playing in the snow :) Who knows when I will be able to make it home again, we shall soon see, but until then I plan on relaxing and enjoying my time with my family!

Snow Snow Snow! Everyone is talking about this massive snow storm that we are getting ready to have. Anyways we had some very beautiful snow on Tuesday night. After dinner I bundled Hunter up and stood on the porch for a minute with him so he could see the snow. We are definitely settling into a routine around here, which makes me very happy. Wednesday morning the snow had pretty much disappeared and we headed off to our mommy and baby luncheon at Franklin Square. It is really great to socialize with other brand new moms. Enjoyed lunch and headed home. Hunter was a little fussy and was spitting up a lot, so we had lots of snuggle time in the afternoon. Last night we decided since it looks like Seth will be plowing for the majority of the weekend, Friday morning we are going to head up to my parents to get snowed in. That means I have a lot to do around here today and tomorrow morning to get ready to head up there for the weekend. I have heard we are getting up to two feet of snow! I love the snow but not THAT much....crazy!

Ok yesterday was another busy to do list day! I got a lot accomplished around the house yesterday. And Oreo went to petco to get groomed, they love her there! They call her wild woman. I feel so bad that because of the baby and the weather she has not really had a chance to get out and run and play. This morning I am so excited because, Hunter smiled back at me! I was talking to him and I smiled at him and with his cute little dimpled smile he looked at me and smiled! Seth said he probably had to poop, but I check his diaper and it was a legitimate smile! It melted my heart, I love this kid :)
